This is an aftermarket replacement thermocouple produced by an independent manufacturer. It is compatible with Programat S series zirconia sintering furnaces but is not manufactured by, authorised by or endorsed by Ivoclar Vivadent. Ivoclar Vivadent and Programat are registered trademarks of their respective owners, referenced solely to indicate compatibility.
Sintering programs push a type S sensor close to its material limit, so drift is the most common cause of changed translucency, slumping or brittle restorations. This replacement is manufactured from calibrated noble-metal wire pairs with tolerance class matching typical OEM sensors, protected by alumina twin-bore insulation up to 1600 °C.
