Description

Sintering furnaces built around silicon carbide (SiC) elements rely on matched element sets: a single aged or replaced element with deviating resistance creates cold zones that ruin sintering uniformity across the firing tray.

We supply dense-fired SiC elements in common geometries and match every set to within 0.5 % resistance so the chamber heats evenly. Elements are supplied with aluminum braid terminal ends and the correct clamping hardware.

Frequently asked questions

Should I replace all SiC elements at once?

Yes. New and used elements have different resistances. Mixing them causes uneven chamber temperatures and accelerates aging of the new elements. Always replace as a full matched set.
