Description
The muffle heater is the wear part of every porcelain furnace: thousands of firing cycles, thermal shocks from opening the furnace at temperature, and contamination by firing paste slowly degrade the element. Typical symptoms of an aging heater are slow heat-up, the furnace never quite reaching final temperature, or visible hot spots glowing brighter than the rest of the winding.
We manufacture replacement quartz heaters matched to the electrical data (resistance in ohms, voltage, wattage) and winding geometry of common porcelain furnace muffles. Each heater is aged and resistance-checked before shipping so your furnace controller does not need recalibration after the swap.

How do I identify a worn muffle heater?
Measure the winding resistance with a multimeter and compare it to the value printed on your old heater or in the furnace manual. Deviations above ±10 %, uneven glow during heat-up, or heat-up times noticeably longer than new all indicate the end of service life.
