This is an aftermarket replacement heating element produced by an independent manufacturer. The muffle heater is the wear part of every porcelain furnace: thousands of cycles, thermal shocks from opening at temperature, and contamination by firing paste slowly degrade the element. Typical symptoms are slow heat-up, missing final temperature, or visible hot spots.
This replacement is wound from high-purity quartz to the original electrical data and winding geometry of the target furnace, so the controller does not need recalibration after the swap.
